lesson11 How’s　the weather today？教学设计

教学目标：

1、知识目标：学生可以听、说、读、写snowy, windy, cloudy ,rainy, sunny等描述天气状况的形容词及句型How’s the weather today?

2、能力目标：能用How’s the weather? It’s____.这个句子进行贴近学生生活的对话练习。

3、情感目标：通过谈论天气，让学生感受大自然的美丽，感受活动、交际的快乐，培养主动探究的意识和互助合作的精神，并借此呼吁孩子热爱环境，保护环境。

学情分析： 四年级的学生有了一定的认知能力，而且已经掌握了一定量的词汇和句型，对于课堂用语和一些日常对话较为熟悉。本课是在前一课的基础上学习有关天气的几个形容词，所以难度不大。

教学重点、难点：

1、教学重点：

（1）、“四会”掌握五种天气状况的形容词。

（2）、用How’s the weather today? It’s______.进行问答练习。

2、教学难点：掌握snow等事物与天气这一类词的变化规律。

教学准备：多媒体课件，天气图片与单词卡片。

教学过程

I.Greetings and review ：

1.    Greeting：

T: Hello!boys and girls.How are you?

S: Fine,thanks.

T: Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you ,too.

2.    Review:

 Do you like songs? Ok, now let’s sing the song “Twelve months ” .

Sing the song together. Review the twelve months.

What day is it today?  ---It’s Friday, April 15.

(歌曲启动课堂，既活跃了课堂气氛，又吸引了孩子们的注意力，同时，在演唱过程中出示月份卡片，起到了复习和热身的双重作用。课前，采取值日生报告的形式，温故知新，为新课做好铺垫.)

Ⅱ.New Concepts

1.教授新单词

Showing pictures on the screen. Lead students  to observe “the sun” and “a sunny day” Try to find the difference of “sun” and “sunny”. Then write “ny” at the end of the word. Teach windy\rainy\cloudy\snowy in the same way.

课件出示名词和形容词，让学生找出变化规律。

老师在黑板上画出天气状况，找学生在黑板上将单词卡片贴到相应的位置。

（让学生动手记忆更深刻,激发学生的学习兴趣，调动学生的积极性。）

2、Guessing Game

A、露单词卡片一角猜单词 。 

B、分小组比赛猜词卡 Is it snowy？Is it sunny?

（通过设置灵活多样的游戏活动，操练所学的五个天气单词，激发学生的学习兴趣，课堂气氛热烈。）

C.出示课件（四个季节）

How’s the weather ? Is it cold or hot? Is it cool or warm?

同学们描述图片上的天气，用短语来表达。

Listen to the tape and read it together.

3、Practice

Practice（Listen and match）

(课件出示句子问答连线，请学生进行问答练习来操练本课句型）
4. Talk about the weather

A. Group Work：课件出示一个表格，显示几个城市的天气预报情况，小组内合作练习以天气播报员的身份来模拟播报天气预报。

B. Pair Work:拓展训练，出示课件上的其它各城市天气图标，两人一组一问一答的方式练习播报各大城市的天气情况。

（利用不同的的形式整合知识，让学生在交流中、在真实的情景中体会学习的乐趣，感悟语言的实用性，充分调动学生自主学习和探究的积极性。）

5.Let's chant!

l          How’s the weather today?

It’s sunny. It’s a sunny day.

l          How’s the weather today?

It’s cloudy. It’s a cloudy day.

l          How’s the weather today?

It’s windy. It’s a windy day.

l          How’s the weather today?

It’s snowy. It’s a snowy day.

l          How’s the weather today?

It’s rainy. It’s a rainy day.

(将所学知识，以歌谣的形式呈现出来，巩固新知，强化记忆，真正实现学有所乐。用吟唱的形式新颖有趣，充分调动学生的学习积极性。）

Ⅲ、Class Closing

总结本课主要内容，利用课件启发学生要保护环境。

Watch the weather forecast, then write down the weather of some cities. You can make a chart, too.
