教材分析
This is the first lesson of unit three from book three. The main topic is to describe the school and learn how to find a way around the school.
学情分析
四年级学生可以掌握简单的英文句子，英语学习积极性很高，在课堂中表现活跃，喜欢各种活动，也有很强的表现欲，所以本次课设计了很多游戏活动和学生领读环节，以增强学生的注意力和成就感。
教学目标
1. 知识与技能目标：
(1) 学生能听懂、会说、认读和书写下列词汇：school, classroom, library, playground, where
(2) 学生能听懂、会说下列句子：Where’s the computer room? I can show you.
2. 情感目标：
了解礼貌用语（excuse me, thanks）的重要性。

教学过程
Step1 Class Opening
- Greeting
- Free Talk
请学生回答问题What do you do in the morning/ in your bedroom/ at home/on Sunday?与学生进行互动，交流我会做什么事情。
通过一个问题What do you do at school? 过渡到新课内容： At School
Step2 New Concepts
- New Words
利用课件，通过图片呈现新单词：school, classroom, library, playground, computer room，在课件中插入单词的音频，教给学生正确的读音。
This is a school. This is my school. It’s great. （listen, read, spell）
This is the classroom. This is my classroom. It’s clean.（listen, read, spell）

给学生几分钟的时间记忆单词，之后闭上眼睛，一起玩背单词的游戏。
- New Sentences
利用视频教学课文（在课件中插入课文视频）。第一遍听听力，第二遍听听力回答问题：Where does Jenny want to go? 第三、四遍跟读课文，模仿语音语调。之后请三位学生领读课文。
Step3 Practice
- What is it? 看课件中的图片回答问题。
- Let’s talk. 同桌两人练习对话，问路和指路

A: Thanks!
- 根据图片填空，完成句子。
(1) We read books in the library .
(2) We play basketball on the playground .
(3) This is our classroom . It’s beautiful.
(4) There are many computers in the computer room .
Step4 Production
将单词卡片贴在教室的不同位置，请一名学生上台配合老师进行演示。之后请学生进行情景表演，问路与指路。
Step5 Class Closing
带领学生总结本课知识点（单词与句型），强调礼貌用语的重要性（excuse me, thanks）。
