一、教学目标

1. 知识目标

a 学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇： am    when   birthday

b 学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构：

----How  old  are  you  ?

----I’m    _________years  old .

When  is  your  birthday  ?

My  birthday  is  ________.

2、能力目标

运用所学获得有关年龄的信息。

3、情感目标

培养学生用所学的交际用语进行交流的能力，并通过交际化语言的学习，激发学生对语言的学习热情，培养学生爱好。

二、教学重难点

1、教学重点：用  How  old  are  you  ? 询问他人的年龄，并能用  I  am ……做出回答。

2、教学难点： 

When  is   your  birthday ?

My  birthday  is  December   17.

PPT课件，单词卡片

四、教学过程

复习12个月份单词和12个序数词，以及日期的表达

3. presentation

⑴ 单词学习

am          是         I  am =  I’m

when        什么时候

birthday     生日

用词卡展示生词并领读，对单词进行听说认读的操练。

（2）（出示婴儿及蛋糕的图片）询问 How  old  is  the  baby ?

引导学生回答  He  is   one   year   old  . 并强调只有一岁时用 one   year   old.

(ppt出示Jerry及蛋糕图片) 并询问  How  old  is   Jerry ? 

并引导学生回答  

（ppt出示一张老人带有年龄的图片）引导学生说我65岁了。

引出重点句型并板书  

How    old    are     you   ?

I’m _______years     old.

同桌运用相互问答并展示。

（3）（ppt出示婴儿及带有其生日的图片）询问  When  is  the baby’s birthday? 引导学生回答

 His  birthday  is   July   the  eighth.

 引出句型

（4）Read  your books  and  answer  the  questions 读课文回答问题。（找同学问答）

(5 ) pair  work 

小组四人一组进行讨论，提问并填写表格

1.  What’s  your   name  ?

2.  How    old    are    you  ?

3   When   is  your  birthday ?

并找同学进行展示

（6 ）Homework

Ask  your father  and  mother’s  birthday,  and  rember  it.  On their birthday , please say  happy  to  them.
