Lesson14  MyBody

一、学情分析:

(一)学习者分析:

三年级学生活泼好动,善于模仿,乐于参与活动,喜欢积极表现自我。大部分学生

初次接触英语,通过前几课的学习,对英语已有初步认知。少数学生有一些英语基础。因此教师要设计学生喜欢的活动让每一个学生参与进来,更要充分利用好有基础的学生资源,让他们起到配合,榜样的作用。

(二)学习内容分析: 

本课主要学习表示身体部位的六个词汇:body, head, arm, leg, foot, hand以及歌曲If you are happy and you know it. 身体部位的词汇适宜与动作结合起来,因此要介绍一个新游戏Simon Says. 学生在游戏的过程中欢快地学习新内容。

  二、教学目标:

(一)知识与技能目标:1.能听懂、会说和认读词汇body, head, arm, leg, foot

                      2. 能做游戏:Simon Says

                      3. 能唱歌曲:If you’re happy and you know it

(二)情感目标:乐于模仿,敢于开口。

(三)学习策略目标:注意倾听,积极思考。

三、教学重点: 听懂、会说和认读词汇body, head, arm, leg, foot

四、教学难点:1. a, an的简单用法。

               2. hand 与head 读音的区别。

五、教学过程:

I. Warm up

Greetings:

Hello, boys and girls. How are you?

T: How do you feel?  S: I feel _________.

S1: How do you feel?  S2: I feel/I’m _________.

  II. New Concept

1. Introduce the body part words: body, hand, head, arm, leg, foot.

Point to each part of the body, say the word.

What is it? It’s a /an ______.

(此处用汉语告诉学生,an 用于以a, e或o 开头的任何词前,如:an apple, an eraser, an egg, an arm, an orange.)

Read: hand , a, apple, cat, sad, happy

      Head, ea, dead, bread,break

Watch the video, follow to read.

Practice in pairs: (point to the part of the body)

S1: What is it?    S2: It’s a/an ______.

Chant:(do the actions) boys and girls, head to head.

                       Boys and girls, arm to arm

                       Boys and girls, leg to leg…….

2. Let’s play!

  Simon Says, teacher explains how to play this game.

  Simon says touch your head. Simon says touch your leg. Touch your foot.

  Let’s do the game together.

3. Let’s sing!

  First introduce the phrases: clap your hand, stamp your foot, wave your arm and shake your leg. Do these actions yourself as you say the phrases.

  Demonstrate the meaning of the song. For example:

  T: Are you happy?

  S: Yes.

  T: If you’re happy ,clap your hands.(follow to do )

  T: If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.

  Listen to the first verse of the song, follow to sing and do actions.

  In the next verse, replace with other phrases.

  Sing the whole song together.

III: Check for understanding

1. pair work: What is it? It’s a/ an _______.

2. Play a game: stick the body

IV: Class Closing

  1. What do we learn from this lesson?

  2. Do you have any questions?

  3. homework:  Write the  words.

                Sing this song .

                Do the exercises.
