T：Today let’s go to the supermarket.(Show the PPT to students).What do you want to buy？I make a shopping list.I want to buy tomatoes potatoes and candy ,I need a bag to carry them.Do you know tomatoes potatoes and candy?

Do you like tomatoes/ potatoes?

Candy is sweet. Don’t eat more. Candy isn’t good for our teeth.

Play a guessing game to help students remember the words.

Step3:Consolidation

T:Mrs Smith Danny and Jenny are shopping at the supermarket.Let’s watch the story.I will ask you some questions.

T: Look at the pictures. Where are they?

Role play: Let’s practise and act the story, we practise picture 1 to picture 4.Four students are one group.
