Winter Fun教学设计

教学目的:
1、 知识目标:能熟练运用“why”“because”进行交流。能认读、理解并运用下列句子:
We make a small snowball for his head. I have
________ for his _________.
2、能力目标:介绍自己眼中的”winter fun”,了解堆雪人的过程,并用所学英语进 行描述。
3、情感目标:积极营造真实情境,使学生感受冬天的乐趣,并在过程中体验学习的乐趣。
教学重点:认读、理解并运用句子:We make a small snowball for his head. I have
________ for his _________. 并用所学英语描述堆雪人的过程。
教学难点:运用略读(skimming)及寻读等阅读技巧捕捉文本主旨及细节信息,解决问题。
教学过程:
步骤
Have a race. (每人一张“test paper”,看谁把身体各部位填得又快又准。)
1. Let’s talk.(屏幕上打出四季的图片,让学生讨论,并用句型“What’s your favourite season? Why? Because…来问答。)
步骤2:
1.
看一看,说一说。
课件呈现,“What
do you do in winter?”
2.
学生讨论后,老师候提问:
Did you make a snow man last winter?
3.课件呈现:snowball
= snow + ball snowman = snow + man. 教师告诉学生: You can say “make a snowball or make snowballs.” 让学生自己总结,我们除了可以说”make a snowman,”还可以说“make snowmen.”
步骤3:
1.课件展示:教师先用绘图工具画出一大圆来代表一个大雪球,同时嘴里说”First, we make a big snowball, it is his body. ” 这时提问学生:What do we do first?,学生回答并重复。接下来,教师再画一个小圆,问:What do we do second? It is his _______. 学生用刚才学过的句型来回答。然后教师点击一下,小圆慢慢升到大圆上面,老师提问”Can you put small snowball on the big
snowball?要求学生边用“I think I can”回答,边做出相应动作。这时雪人的身体和脑袋做完了,教师提问: How do we make the snowman’s head and body? 学生重复。
2. 老师提问:What shall we do next? 学生会很快答出:We make the snowman’s face. 教师接着提问: What do we need for his face? 引导学生用句型 I have __________ for his _________来回答。这时班上的优等生能自己说出”stone
stick”等单词,在学生说的时候,教师不断找学生重复,并教授新单词。
3.雪人堆好了,老师问: Is it beautiful? 学生有的会摇头,这时教师鼓励学生发挥自己的想象来“dress up the snowman”.在教师的鼓励下,学生会说出“I have a hat for it, I have a scarf for it”.
4.老师通过课件回放,带领学生一起回顾堆雪人的过程。
步骤4:
1.
听读:T: First, let’s
listen to the tape. Then answer this question: How many snowballs do Jenny and
LiMing make?
老师播放录音,学生听后回答问题。
2.
略读:让学生快速阅读,并回答三个问题:
What do they use for the
snowman’s mouth?
What do they use for his ears?
Does the snowman have any legs or face?
3. 寻读:要求学生细读课文,完成” test paper”上的第二题。
T: Please read the story carefully. Then finish the second
question.
师生核对答案。
步骤5:
1.Short essay
教师出示一篇短文,让学生根据短文的意思自己动手画一个自己理想的雪人。
2.Group work
教师要求学生在小组内指着自己刚画完的雪人,说一说“How to make a snowman”,并找几组到前面展示。
步骤6:
1.Summary 师生共同回顾堆雪人的过程。
2.Homework: write the steps how to make a snowman
