一、教材分析

本课教学内容选自新人教版九年级 Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious ! Section A (3a-3c) Full Moo n, Full Feelings新目标初中英语教材用任务型语言教学模式，融会话题、交际功能 和语言结构，形成一套循序渐进的生活话的学习程序。以学生语言技能、 语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础，培养学生英语 综合语言运用能力。强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发， 形 成一种师生交往、积极互动、共同发展的过程。让学生在教师的指导下， 通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式，形成积极的学习态度，促进 语言实际运用能力的提高。

本单元的中心话题是节日，而节日与我们的生活密切相关，通过本单 元的学习，要求学生能够用英语谈论自己喜欢的节日，并说明为什么。在 谈论这个话题的同时，学习并掌握宾语从句。宾语从句在初中教材中是一 个很重要的知识点，学好这一单元对后面的学习很有帮助，起着承上启下 的作用。在中考中，不但选择题中要涉及这方面的内容，而且在阅读理解 中也有大量的宾语从句出现，如果不能够很好地掌握它，势必影响学生今 后对阅读文章的理解。因此，本单元不仅是本册书的重点，在整个初中教 学中，它都占着非常重要的地位。

二、教学目标

1.Language points语言目标）

（1 ）熟练掌握本单元词汇：folk, goddess, whoever, steal（stole, stole n）, lay（laid, laid）, lay out, dessert, garden, tradition, admire .

（2）熟练掌握下面有用的句子：

Pang Meng tried to steal the medicine.

He quickly laid out her favorite fruits and desserts in the garden.

People started the tradition of admiring the moon and sharing moon cakes with their families.

2.Ability points （技能目标）

进一步巩固宾语从句，并能熟练应用这些句型谈论节日。

3.Emotion and attitude(情感目标）

通过对传统中秋节的学习，培养学生热爱文化、主动学习文化的兴趣，

陶冶思想情操。

三、 Teaching key points and difficulties（教学重难点）

教学重点：掌握本课词汇，培养学生的阅读技能。

教学难点：学会运用宾语从句表达自己的情感。

四、 Teaching methods教法与学法）

教学方法：教师通过 learn new words by yourself， retell the story，and brain storming to output等任务和活动，创设一种互动、竞争的课堂，让学生 在轻松愉悦的氛围中提高阅读技能。

学习方法：借助单词教学、复述故事、及头脑风暴输出重点短语这三大 活动，进行小组合作学习，自主探究、主动参与到竞争中来。

五、 Teaching procedures 教学过程）

Step 1 Warming up.

First, greeting to students.

Good morning. What' s today? How s the weather?

Second, show some pictures of festivals on the screening. Ask students to practice speaking.

T: How many festivals have we learned in 1a to 2d? And what are the?

S1: The Spring Festival (the Water Festival, the Drag on Boat Festival, the

Lantern Festival)

T: Look at pictures. What are they?

S2: They are moon cakes.

T: When do we eat them? And what do you know about the festival?

S3: On Mid-Autumn Festival. Eat moon cakes and admire the moon.

Third , Share all kinds of moon cakes.

（设计意图：本部分虽为导入环节，但同时还有对1a-2d节日名称的复习。接着过渡到，由月饼引出中秋节，节日即将到来，学生喜闻乐见。继 而分享展示各种类型的月饼，更增加了学生对此节日的学习兴趣。 ）

Step 2 Learn new words

folk, goddess, steal, lay, lay out, dessert, garden, admire, tradition

（设计意图：本环节单词的学习主要是通过小组内自学屏幕上所展示的 单词的发音、汉意及动词的各种形式，然后选代表带领全班学习，分大组 给予评出优秀、良好、一般，以促进学生间、小组间的竞争意识，提高学 生的参与度。）

Step 3 Reading

T: Mid-Autumn Day is coming ！ I have a nice song to share you. Let' s enjoy it!

2.Before reading

(1)Students are given three minutes to look at the photo, the questions in 3a and

the title to the story on page 11. Then answer the questions below.

1.Who is the girl in the picture?

2.What does the passage talk about?

3.What ' s the meaning of“Full Moon, Full Feelings”？

(2)Read the first sentence in each paragraph and answer the question. What does the passage mainly talk about?

3.While reading

(1)Read Para. 1 and answer the questions below.

1.What do we eat on Mid-Autumn Festival?

2.What do moon cakes look like?

3.Why do we eat them on Mid-Autumn Festival?

(2)Read Para. 2 and write T for true or F for false and find what they have done.

(F ) There is only one traditional folk story about Mid-Autumn Festival.

(F) A goddess gave HouYi magic medicine before he shot down the nine suns. (F) Chang ' e refused to give the medicine to Hou Yi and drank it all.

(T) One night, Pang Meng found that the moon was so bright and round that he could see his wife there.

(F ) Chang ' e quickly laid out her favorite fruits and desserts in the garden.

It is said that there was an extremely tall laurel tree on the moon and a man called Wu Gang was ordered to cut down the tree as a punishment for offending the god of heave n. He was not allowed to go home until he could cut down the tree. But the problem was that each time he cut down the tree, it would quickly grow back, making it impossible for him to cut it down. Like Chang' e, he had no choice but to cut the tree on the moon forever.
